Amazon Sr. Program Manager, Product Lifecycle Support (PLS) in Bellevue, Washington

The mission of Amazon Product Lifecycle Support (PLS) is to offer relevant post-purchase product support options to customers, and empower them to make the most of the products purchased on Amazon. By solving product issues, we prevent avoidable returns and help the planet by extending the life of products, thereby generating positive financial and environmental impacts.

To support this mission, our team is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to join PLS Program Management Office (PMO) and own two programs. (1) Enrollment and Operations Program (EOP) focused on increasing the post-purchase support available to our customers across different PLS support options. (2) Seller Insights Program (SIP) focused on increasing brand awareness to increase enrollment into PLS.

This role will challenge you to push boundaries, drive operational excellence, process improvements, lead transformative innovation while having the autonomy to make rapid data-driven decisions and invent on behalf of our customers and brands.

The ideal candidate has an obsession for customers and a strong interest in building innovative solutions; must have proven analytical capabilities (including ability to deep dive, root cause and permanently eliminate risks) and ability to multi-task; and can thrive in a fast-paced environment with exceptional communication and project/program management skills. The ideal candidate must have outstanding judgment, compassion, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in many areas across the company. This role calls for an individual who is technically smart to gain credibility with customers and stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will independently own

• PLS intake management and delivering on PLS enrollment goals as part of Enrollment & Operations Program (EOP). You will have the support of PLS content operations team (based in India) to execute on the tactical tasks.

• Setting goals (such as enrollment volume, quality & productivity) for the PLS content operations team that will feed into meeting PLS team's OP goals.

• Monitoring and reporting out on performance, quality and productivity of the work done by PLS content operations team against goals. The expectations is not to be a people manager, but only to co-ordinate with the local team managers and hold them accountable for delivering on enrollment, quality and productivity goals set for them.

• Improving, streamlining, and/or eliminating unnecessary processes and drives efficiencies across EOP & SIP programs.

• Influence product development based on learning from running EOP & SIP programs

• Work cross-functionally with members from various teams, including PLS Content operations, Amazon Global Outsourcing (GO), Category, Finance, UX, BI, Product, Tech and others to deploy solutions at scale.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
