Job Overview The Sr Director, Billing Platforms and Operations is responsible for the stability, compliance, and performance of our billing platforms. This role involves leading a team focused on Lean and continuous improvement principles, delivering on time, with quality, and exceeding customer satisfaction standards. The Sr Director will ensure financial value to the business and internal transformation through platform investments or process changes. The Sr Director, Platforms Operations builds strategies and roadmaps to transform the Operations organization through platform investments or process changes, across content, catalog, and lean transformation. This role is unique in that it involves data bridging and platform bridging in support of transformation. The Sr Director, Billing Platforms & Operations is responsible for the stability, compliance, and performance of our 5 billing platforms. This position will be responsible for the Legacy and Target State billing platforms that support our diverse customer base including Postpaid (Consumer, Business & Government), Prepaid (2 billers supporting all brands), Wholesale, and our new Fiber subscribers as they integrate with our core billing platforms. This team is responsible for all SOX compliance, cyber changes, general change management, telemetry/monitoring, batch processing, electronic file transfer jobs, and all non-production environments that support release testing, performance testing, and break fix testing. They are responsible for the CI/CD pipeline and the implementation & governance for our Technology and Cyber Standards as they evolve. The position requires a thought leader that can architect a proactive approach to stability and compliance. They need to anticipate changes in our landscape and execute advanced change management practices across a diverse set of vendors and systems. Job Responsibilities: Develop team vision and strategy with a goal to deliver significant financial value and efficiency to the business as well internal transformation operating by Lean and continuous improvement and deployment principles. Implement ML and AI across platforms and bridging. Inspire team and lead people managers by challenging current practices to drive improvement, leveraging industry best practices, as well as inspire a growth mindset amongst their team. Provide tools and opportunities to improve the people management skills of their direct reports Oversee budgets and vendor management displaying accountability for the full portfolio of vendors and contracts within their team, ensuring that any vendor partners are delivering maximum value to the organization. Oversee environment and performance monitoring strategy. Oversee Executive reporting against operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
