The Global Fleet and Products team is responsible for managing and growing the network of professional contract organizations that power Amazon's in-house last mile delivery service. The Last Mile Global Fleet and Products team is seeking a talented Sr. Program Manager to join our team to design, build, and optimize the largest and most agile fleet in the world.

**25% travel is required

Key job responsibilities

• Enable the launch and expansion of the Last Mile Rental program across AMZL US Delivery Stations

• Plan and execute end-to-end operational program analysis – including data root cause analysis and process improvement opportunities to drive program performance and improvement

• Define and scale all Last Mile Rental (LMR) program elements (User Interface, communication, tracking, vehicle sourcing, and system improvements) to drive program participation and growth.

• Partner with senior business leaders and 3rd party rental companies to communicate program performance, progress, and action planning

• Work cross functionally with peers/colleagues to support training, best practices, and shared opportunities.

• Continuous innovation and process improvement efforts to optimize program efficiencies.

• Optimize and standardize the delivery partner experience journey

• Lead and coordinate large, complicated projects with multiple stakeholders.

A day in the life

The Sr. Program Manager, Last Mile Rental plays a critical role to the growth and performance of the LMR business. LMR is a key enabler to AMZL US solving last mile capacity enabling safe/cost effective delivery. This role is a driving force for the adoption and scale of LMR to our Delivery Service Provides (DSP) 2.0 providers. This role will actively plan and implement initiatives, analyze and respond to business conditions, and partner with external groups to deliver short and long term solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • 2+ years experience with Fleet management companies or Commercial vehicle rental companies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
