T-Mobile USA, Inc. seeks Engineers, Software in Bellevue, WA to work on developing various self-service web applications for both desktop and mobile devices. Develop Angular applications to deliver new systems functionality supporting corporate business objectives. Utilize development skills to build software and unit test new systems functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to include builds and releases. Ensure continuous integration and build is in place and being leveraged. Maintain technical skills and expertise through continuing education and training. Translate business and functional requirements into documented technical specifications or User Stories. Develop or update support documentation as needed by the DevOps function and participate in Peer Review to allow acceptance of systems changes into production. Facilitate reviews (walkthroughs) or grooming sessions and demos of technical features and program code with other members of the technical team, communicating design, requirements, feature set, functionality and limitations of systems/applications to team and other engineers. Utilize product lifecycle methodology as a guide for development activities. Provide on-call and after-hours support as required for production releases and to respond and provide active resolution support on production outages. Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance. No additional national or international travel is anticipated. Experience and education requirements: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, or a related field, and 1 year of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, or a related field, and 3 years of relevant work experience. In addition, the following skills are required: (1) Designing, developing, and delivering software applications using Agile, DevOps, and CICD methodologies for customer facing website which support real-time product launches and sales; (2) Utilizing web-based technologies including Angular, RXJS, HTML5, and CSS across desktop, tablet, and handset platforms to enhance customer experiences within telecommunications or related industry; (3) Using Spring Boot Node.js frameworks to implement microservice design pattern to ensure modular scalability and operations of the solution; and (4) Utilizing content management systems including Adobe experience manager to create dynamic templates and component that enable authoring capability on web applications for faster go to market. Washington Pay Range: $139,133.41 to $162,600.00/year. The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
