Actalent Project Manager, Facility Design Services in Bellevue, Washington
Actalent Services is hiring a Project Manager with strong facilities design expertise for a permanent leadership role offering remote flexibility. This PM will gain exposure to one of Actalent's largest clients and corresponding global design teams and possess the ability to build out additional BIM/facilities design capabilities within our Global Engineering Practice. Preferred candidates will possess BIM Manager and Revit experience and be motivated to manage remote and/or offshore resources with responsibility for managing project scheduling, cost and design deliverables. Success in project delivery will require prior experience in facilities MEP design with client-facing experience for global logistics and ecommerce client(s) and their industrial facilities.
Essential Functions
Manage multiple center-based or onsite managed projects through all phases of development, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, control and closure while following Actalent’s Services Management Framework
Ensure compliance to customer design specifications, quality standards, regulatory requirements, company work rules and procedures and safety requirements
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules and documentation including change management, risk mitigation and reporting
Develop tracking methods to monitor client and internal KPI’s
Distribute workflow from customer to Group Leaders and Practice Managers to allocate to their teams
Maintain high level of relationships with all customer stakeholders
Utilize project management skills of communication, presentation, time management, organization and planning to successfully achieve program goals and objectives and SLA’s
Conduct regular status meetings and design reviews with customers and team to assess progress against the plan
Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly status reports to Actalent management and appropriate client recipients
Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Minimum Education, Skills and Qualifications
Team player with ability to work in a highly cross-functional and virtual environment
BSc/BA degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management or related technical field
PMP Certified a plus; proven knowledge of project management methods required
OSHA 10 Certified a plus; knowledge is required.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience required for consideration.
Minimum 2 years of experience in managing mid-size projects or programs; must have people-management experience
Proven experience designing industrial facilities, including but not limited to: warehousing, distribution facilities, and product manufacturing plants
SW & Tools: Proficient in CAD/Revit with experience coaching/mentoring designers utilizing Revit; Highly proficient in PC applications- MS Office suite of tools.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to effectively present to large customer groups
Strong organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated leadership abilities with managing large dispersed teams with diverse skillsets
Ability to travel onsite to customer(s) as needed
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
$10,000 annual bonus potential, employee profit sharing program, 4 weeks paid time-off, 6 paid holidays, monthly cell phone allowance, 401(k) w/company match, M/D/V benefits
