What does a Production Maintenance Mechanic do at Swire Coca-Cola? In the production plant the Maintenance Mechanic performs a variety of generalfacility maintenance. The production environment is operational 24/7 so the technician is responsible to maintain, repair, disassemble and troubleshoot complex equipment in charge of production processes. There is high speed automated production machinery, and other manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities: Provide Support to production lines by troubleshooting failures and other issues and making necessary repairs to production and facility equipment to maximize efficiencies Complete all assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks through SAP Participate in rebuilds and overhauls on production line and support equipment Assist with parts management by ensuring parts are checked out of stock and communicating any deficiencies to the Parts Planner Provide consistent communication with fellow maintenance staff through End of Shift reports Support the Swire Manufacturing Continuous Improvement (SMCI) process by participating in established routines with production operators and following up on top causes of downtime Maintain a clean and organized workspace Follow established safety, quality and environmental policies, practices, and programs Operate with technical skill the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management system. This is for inventory and production line operational excellence Clean tools, parts and equipment after line rebuilds/repairs/maintenance Install new equipment as necessary and provide technical expertise to train and support production with a continued desire for lean supply chain process initiatives and improvement Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed Quality reviews of equipment assigned to maintain safety and performance standards Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate Trade School certified preferred 2+ years of maintenance experience Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read schematics Welding and Fabrication experience Experience working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems. Ability to learn new software and interfaces quickly. Strong computer skills Ability to stay on task and meet goals and deadlines with minimal supervision Must be able to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment; a variety of skills needed Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), Plumbing, Welding, Fabrication, docks and doors, security systems Production Facilityrepairs as assigned Knowledge of manufacturing, production operators, and industrial technology preferred Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business Ability to lift 50 pounds Base pay range is $18.79 to $28.90 plus bonus structure (dependent on role). Pay offered will depend on candidate's geographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities.
