We work to reduce returns by helping customers keep what they bought and removing defects that would cause a return (Zero Defects). When items are returned or damaged, we maximize reuse and recovery to achieve Zero Cost of Returns and Zero Product Waste.

The WWR&R Finance team seeks a self-driven Financial Manager excited about solving complex problems that have a customer facing impact, require strategic long-term thinking.

As the Finance Manager, you will build the tools, analyses, and touchpoints to business partners that will inform all stake holders of the WWRR business achievements. WWRR finance works closely with operations, tech, and finance teams to influence the strategic direction of the business, drive operational excellence, help define roadmaps, and provide guidance and reporting.

They collaborate with executives and various business units across Amazon. You bring excellent verbal and written communication skills. Key job responsibilities

Amazon Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce (WWR&R) Finance seeks a Finance Leader to join our FP&A organization. You will own key financial reporting and alignment, develop key processes around the organization's goals, and to perform financial analyses of major business events. You will become a valued business partner by focusing on core finance functions, identifying and publishing key metrics and work on special projects to achieve optimal performance.

Bellevue, WA, USA

Basic Qualifications

  • BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science)

  • 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience

  • 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience

  • MBA, or CPA

  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL

  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
