Seeking a skilled Project Manager to fill a key engineering management role within the power utility industry. This position involves managing engineering work on power distribution projects, including reclosers, trip savers, and reconductors. The role requires a blend of design and project management experience, with a focus on maximizing the full utilization of the engineering team. This position is fully remote but requires residency in the greater Puget Sound area. You will also have the opportunity to conduct site visits and interact directly with clients for project updates and business development opportunities.
Responsibilities
Manage engineering work on power distribution projects, including reclosers, trip savers, and reconductors.
Maximize the full utilization of the engineering team.
Conduct site visits and interact directly with clients for project updates and business development opportunities.
Design work in AutoCAD.
Manage engineering teams and utilization throughout the group.
Essential Skills
5-7 years of experience engineering and managing power distribution projects (reclosers, trip savers, and reconductors).
Experience designing work in AutoCAD.
Experience managing engineering teams.
Experience in project management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Certified women-owned diversity business enterprise.
Experience with a nationwide engineering services firm.
Experience with a diversified project load.
Experience with business plans to expand offerings to Seattle City Light and Tacoma Power.
Work Environment
This position is 100% remote but requires residency in the Puget Sound area. There will be occasional project and client site visits. The role involves managing a team of three engineers.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $48.08/hr.
