Position Summary

 

This Foundation Leadership role is an essential foundation role and is responsible for providing management, strategy, oversight and administration for Bellevue College Foundation (BCF) scholarships, foundation grants and program support. This position is responsible for strategy around a rapidly growing scholarships program, designing and implementing additional scholarship cycles, increasing grant support to our campus and creating a best practice model for program support.

 

The Director of Scholarships, Grants and Programs role works in the BCF office and will report to the Executive Director. This position will have primary responsibility for scholarship strategy and implementation, long-term strategy for grants in the foundation, increasing program support on campus and creating best practice models for all responsibilities under this position. This position will have responsibility for coverage of some supervisor duties during absences and will manage staff in the future.

 

Responsibilities include overseeing all scholarship activities, a new grants program and program staff, manage and make decisions on the appropriate platforms for execution, be part of the Foundation leadership team and provide some supervisor coverage during absences.

 

In addition to the primary responsibilities, this role will also work with the Board of Directors for the foundation, specifically supporting the scholarship and program committee.

 

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule

 

Position Salary Range: $90,705/year - $131,522/year

 

The salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The salary will be determined based on candidate's qualifications and related experience, as well as market and business considerations. Typically, new hire starts no higher than $100,909/year based on Bellevue College Exempt salary schedule.

The employee is scheduled to work 40 hours per workweek. This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act, which means that you are not eligible for overtime pay.
