WHO YOU ARE
Prowess Consulting is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have client-facing, technical account experience selling managed programs and business process outsourcing (BPO) deals as well as helping with the management and delivery of work to ensure program success. In this role you will help nurture existing programs to support client needs and ensure we have the right teams deployed for the program. Experience selling, as an Account Manager, and developing new business opportunities in compliance program management, tools and automation, and development and testing into big tech or other large industries is required. Excellent relationship development and management experience is a must. We are also looking for salespeople who can bring trusted relationships or an existing or potential book of business with them to Prowess Consulting. We prefer individuals who have experience nurturing existing relationships as well as generating leads independently or in concert with modern business development techniques including account-based marketing and content marketing. Knowledge of the associated software platforms and tools to drive lead generation is a plus.
To be considered for this role you must live in the Greater Seattle area and be willing to work from our Bellevue office several days a week and visit clients in person in the Greater Seattle area.
THE ROLE
Build, maintain and nurture effective professional relationships with enterprise clients
Consult with clients to architect and produce strategies, assets, and solutions around managed programs and BPO projects to solve their needs
Understand client ecosystem, offer solution recommendations, resolve problems and follow up with clients in a timely manner
Serve as primary channel of communication between the client and Prowess Consulting
Work with VP of Operations to ensure that client objectives are being met
Participate in the recruiting process to help make sure the right resources are being deployed for each program
Responsible for internal project and program tracking, monitoring, and regular reporting for forecasting and budgeting purposes
Makes recommendations to Prowess management for process and sales effectiveness improvements
Work with Prowess sales exec help to scope and estimate new project/program work
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum three years' experience in an Account Manager, Program Manager, or business development role a must, with high-tech experience a plus
Experience working at a project based, professional services company selling solutions around managed programs, BPO, compliance, tools automation, and development and testing required
Must have experience with both prospecting new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients
You must be a self-starter, motivated, and eager to achieve
Bring a book of business or warm leads
Must have experience selling services around account-based marketing and content marketing
Exceptional oral and written communication skills required
Strong basic computer skills in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams) required
Bachelor’s degree and a graduate degree are strongly desired
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The offered base pay range for this specific position is $85,000 to $140,000, DOE, with on-target earnings of $100,000 to $175,000.
