Fortive Corporation Warehouse Operative in Belfast, United Kingdom

Warehouse Operative

We seek a skilled and detail-oriented manufacturing Warehouse operator to join our team and help drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes. Our ideal candidate will handle the day-to-day operations within our warehouse, ensure material supply to manufacturing work cells, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely supply of materials.

  • Perform inventory controls and maintain high standards for audit compliance.

  • Maintaining stock level accuracy in the inventory management system (MRP)

  • Label and store incoming materials and products appropriately.

  • Handle materials and products carefully, ensuring proper storage and inventory accuracy.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all warehouse activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in logistics is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of proven work experience as a warehouse operator or in a similar role.

  • Knowledge of MRP systems and MS Office proficiency.

  • Strong understanding of warehousing, inventory control, and material handling.

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

  • Physical stamina and dexterity are necessary for the work and the ability to lift or move heavy products.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

  • Basic computer skills for inventory management.

  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.

Working conditions

  • Location: Belfast

  • Reports to the Value Stream Team Leader
