The Business Associate is an intermediate level position within the controls and reporting team supporting the Enterprise Data Office (EDO) business execution function. The role requires a professional who applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function. Requires good analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. The Business Associate may assist in activities such as the tracking of business financials, managing employee headcount or coordination of other administrative needs. May work on ad hoc projects as requested.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support management by liaising with business stakeholders to capture requirements to build and run daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc business intelligence reports/dashboards.
Leverage available tools to transform large data sets into concise reporting for business unit and project managers under minimal supervision.
Onboard new EDO organisations and expand current reporting suite as required.
Liaise with business stakeholders to capture requirements to create and run scorecard reports as required.
Apply judgment when reviewing and interpreting data, preparing reports, and sharing findings to management, while supporting a variety of tasks related to business office governance.
Minimize risk to business partners through a solid understanding of procedural requirements and control policies.
Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively use the reports and interpret the data.
Maintain documentation of reports, including design specifications, data sources, and usage guidelines.
Complete compliance related activities and reporting
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Knowledge/Experience
Proven relevant experience.
Advanced Excel and SharePoint expertise including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.
Experience with Power Query, M-code, and similar data transformation tools is a plus.
Experience working with large data sets.
Experience with databases and information management.
Experience of producing high quality and accurate reports for senior audiences in demanding timeframes.
Experience of learning new work/activities quickly and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Experience working with Citi systems, including Resources @ Citi, WMC, and Workday is preferrable.
Interest and experience in the financial services industry, particularly in the areas of technology and data mining.

Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
