Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

  • Conduct simulations and analyses to validate designs and ensure compliance with specifications.

  • Create detailed engineering drawings and documentation for manufacturing.

  • Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to optimize designs and resolve technical issues.

  • Perform testing and validation of prototypes to ensure functionality and reliability.

  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to improve product designs.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design technologies.

  • Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and regulations.

  • Support manufacturing and production teams during the implementation phase.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • Proven experience in mechanical design and development.

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Desired Characteristics

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics).

  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.

  • Certification in relevant design software.
