Microsoft Corporation Principal Product Manager in Beijing, China

We are looking for a Product Manager interested in leveraging state-of-the-art AI models to deliver high-quality and personalized experiences to users around the world. You will be working closely with global product, engineering, and science teams to scale features on Outlook, Teams and other critical Microsoft Office products.

This position will bring in a balanced set of incubation, design, growth engineering, data informed decision making, customer focus, partner engagement, and execution skills. The position requires you to work with product leaders and architects across the company, has executive exposure, unlimited opportunities for growth and impact, and can lead, grow and scale their team.

Responsibilities

You will be the leader that helps drive the growth of high-value customer experiences that are consistent and impactful across M365 canvasses.  

You will deliver impact when you successfully: 

  • Help set vision and strategy for technology investments

  • Model Customer Driven best practices to lead the focus of new feature development

  • Build and maintain highly collaborative and durable relationships across our partners

  • Demonstrate end to end ownership of complex, cross group projects, and bring them to successful completion

  • Influence partner teams, get alignment on technology direction and the steps to achieve our feature goals

  • Foster a healthy and inclusive team environment

  • Be a mentor for IC PMs and Managers and help them grow 

Qualifications

Ideal candidate will 

  • Have passion for the customer focus and enthusiasm to build products that delight our customers

  • Able to work with customers and internal/external partners to form alliances without authorities.

  • Have demonstrated success in building vision and roadmap for complex areas

  • Quickly establish a strong network of partnerships across the company

  • Learn quickly with a growth mindset

  • Be a practice leader, and experienced Product Manager able to coach and grow a Product Management team

  • Great problem-solving skills with strong technical proficiency and strategic thinking

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt quickly to new technology and processes 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience 

  • Strong experience shipping products in a tech company 

  • 7+ years of experience in product management. Science, platformand AI product background preferred. 

  • Familiarity with data analytics, machine learning, and deep learning techniques.

  • Overseas working experience preferred
