AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Our Demand Generation Engine (DGE) Team is looking for a Manager, Demand Generation to help drive the growth and shape the future of a group of cloud technologies. Your responsibilities will include qualifying outbound leads, working on larger deals and managing partner opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess both business development and technical background that enables them to successfully manage a high volume of outbound leads as well as experience interacting with partners. He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to work in a high-volume environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Cooperate in the development and execution of a territory plan including outbound calling against established target lists

  • Work closely with business development and marketing teams to align efforts and drive revenue in assigned territory

  • Use data and analytics to measure and improve the performance of demand generation efforts

  • Provide training and support to team members on demand generation best practices and tools

  • Measure and report on Salesforce.com and other dashboards, on the success of demand generation campaigns, using metrics such as leads, conversions, and revenue

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 8+ years of technology related business development or proven experience in project management

  • 3+ years managerial exposure

  • Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and in English with an innate attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors (BS) or Masters (MS) in Computer Science or Information Management (or similar field) is a plus

  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com

  • Analytical skills using Excel would be a plus

  • A proven track record of managing multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines and budgets

  • Experience working in a Call Centre would be a plus

  • Spoken language from China regions would be a plus
