The Senior Customer Solutions Architect role will be part of the Non-Search Ads Marketplace Team focused on Display, Video, and Native formats. Our Ads Marketplace Team are applied data scientists with a strong “Live Site First” mindset who are passionate about monitoring and protecting the health of the Microsoft Ads marketplace ecosystem. We consume huge amounts of data spanning advertisers, publishers, system components and users to connect the dots across seemingly unrelated anomalies for identifying and resolving issues impacting the marketplace. We proactively analyze and investigate any marketplace anomaly using various data analysis techniques, drive issue resolution coordinating with various teams across time zones and perform the necessary follow ups for future prevention of issues.

This role/position sits at the crossroads between the business and the technology that powers it. You should be comfortable working with the client and commercial teams, discussing the business goals and be able to talk with Engineers and Product about deep technical topics. The ability to build strong relationships with client peers and become a trusted partner with internal stakeholders is paramount. You must be able to troubleshoot technical issues with limited details. You should be able to think of creative, outside the box, solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Integrate Microsoft Monetize platform with partners.

• Upgrade and maintain the integrations.

• Advise clients as well as internal teams as an S2S technology expert (e.g. OpenRTB over real-time network connections).

• Test new product features, create runbooks & enablement processes, and roll-out products to S2S clients with Product & Engineering.

• Serve as an escalation point for complex S2S integration-related issues or networking issues.

• Create documents and internal tools to facilitate the integration process.

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes.

• Monitoring of application alerts to take necessary actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree (& above) AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

• 3+ years of experience in database querying using SQL

• 3+ years working in Ad Tech OR equivalent experience. Experience on Demand-Side integration, Supply-Side integration and/or Data Partner integration is big Plus.

• 2+ years working in web analytics, big data, data science and 2+ years experience in programming languages (such as C, C#, C++, ASP.NET, JavaScript) and analytics tool are plus.

• Fast learner for in-depth understanding E2E architecture in complex technology platform; Strong analytics and problem solving skills.

• Agility to adapt to business and customer/partners dynamics in fast moving environment

• Good communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English in both oral and written is required.
