Huntingdon-Bedford-Fulton Area Agency on Aging Food Service Operator in Bedford, Pennsylvania
This is a 4-hour per day, Monday-Friday, part-time position for a Food Service Worker at the Bedford Senior Center, 205 S. Richard Street, PA. Ability to perform physically required duties including pushing, pulling and lifting a must. Responsible for setting up tables and helping serve catered meal at the senior center in accord with food regulations, take temperature of food upon arrival, clean up dining area after the meal. Wash dishes, clean kitchen, collect and dispose of garbage daily. Clean center including vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restrooms daily and general housecleaning of center as directed by supervisor. Knowledge of proper portion control, sanitary & health procedures when dealing with food a plus.
