LogixHealth Senior Contract Analyst in Bedford, Massachusetts
Location: Bedford, Ma; Onsite
This Role:
Perform day to day contract implementation duties. The Senior Contract Analyst is responsible for modeling possible contract seniors for our clients to review. In this role, you will be heavily involved in negotiating healthcare group contracts with multiple networks as well as ensuring any new contracts are implemented correctly. Communicating closely with the Contract Manager and Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and model contracts to determine the effect on revenue projections
Review audits to ensure accurate contract implementation and subsequent claims processing
Obtain current contracted rates from clients and other sources
Identify existing contracts that are up for renegotiation
Maintain systems and other contracting documents with participating status, rates and information
pertaining to the process of claim payments
Update participating provider lists
Troubleshoot and problem solve contract implementation issues
Review contracts and applicable provider information based on contract language; if any configuration is
needed to accommodate a particular contract, notify the appropriate teams
Review and research payment variance reports
Obtain information requested by management
Interact directly with clients via e-mail or phone
Attend conference calls with clients and payers as requested
Collaborate with Managers to resolve contracting issues
Qualifications:

Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Prior word processing, spreadsheet and internet software experience including proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word required.
Prior third-party billing experience required
Ability to comprehend and communicate contract information
Ability to create tables or charts to display contract fees and proposals
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and other
employees of the organization
Ability to resolve payment issues with insurance carriers
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Preferred:
Prior contracting experience preferred .
