Program Summary

The C-130 Program Integration Office support provided by KBR is critical to standardization of products, programs and decision support data presentations. This office is essential to cultivating new and innovative solutions for the C-130 and setting the long-range strategy/roadmap for the 162 programs and thousands of personnel associated with this effort.

Job Summary

As a KBR team member, you will lead risk assessments for the C-130 program, modifications and life cycle support. Additionally, you will provide analytical support for each identified risk, categorizing severity, identifying trends and working on solutions. As a subject matter expert, and integral team member you will set plans and procedures necessary to ensure the affordability, availability and capability of the C-130. You will interact with senior leadership on a weekly basis, providing data, problem statements, issues potential courses of action and solutions. Finally, you will execute the direction and plans set by the PEO and his senior staff.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The SME must demonstrate comprehensive experience and knowledge of:

• Current USAF C-130H/J weapon system management processes, policies and procedures

• C-130 program understanding and flight operation parameters

• Provide recommendations on the overall Acquisition Strategy, to include tailoring of milestone requirements and documentation.

• Developing risk program documentation to support Milestone Decisions and Acquisition Strategies

• Experience developing ACAT I/II/III acquisition strategies and artifacts

• Program Management Level III DAWIA certification

• Problem Solving

• Critical and Creative Thinking

• Conflict resolution

• Multi-Tasking

• Clear and well-organized verbal and written communication skills

• Candidate must possess strong computer skills and must be proficient with Microsoft Office Applications

Basic Qualifications:

  • The SME must have at least 20 years of experience in DoD/Air Force operations, acquisitions and logistics.

  • At least 10 years of C-130 experience as an aircrew member.

  • Candidate must possess the ability to work well as part of a team and with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to travel

  • Required Education: A Master’s degree and 15 years of experience in DoD weapon system management is required.

  • Security Clearance Requirement: Top Secret OR able to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in writing and responding to Federal and DoD Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.02 and AFLCMC Policies, Processes and Procedures

  • Experience working with program offices
