Macalogic Senior Pricing Analyst in Beavercreek, Ohio

General Description

Performs as the lead pricing analyst for the company.  Performs in a cross-functional role with all areas of the business (Operations, Finance, HR, Business Development) and leads all pricing efforts for all company proposals. This includes researching existing contracts, creating price-to-win strategies, performing price-to-win analyses, developing pricing for each proposal, and developing any contract/price volumes associated with each proposal.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Support complex contract negotiations, including Joint Venture Agreements, NDAs, Teaming Agreements, and Subcontracts that require pricing inputs.

  • Ability to be flexible to accomplish tasks that may be stressful under strict timelines.

  • Develop pricing strategies, rates/pricing, and contract and pricing volumes for proposals in response to Government RFPs.

  • Create and analyze price-to-win strategies. when necessary.

    Specialized Knowledge

    The successful candidate will have knowledge and expertise in the following areas:

  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

  • Experience in developing complex and simple pricing proposals. 

  • Experience with interactions with internal and external customers at all levels of the organization.

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Political Science, Public Administration, Finance, or equivalent.

    Professional Certifications

    None.

    Clearance

    Either currently hold or can acquire a U.S. Security Clearance.

    Experience

    Five years of business experience in rate/pricing efforts with an emphasis on government and government-related experience. Experience in contracting, joint venture formation, strategic partnering, or other highly complex contractual arrangements is desirable.

    Citizenship

    Must be a U.S. Citizen.

    Skills and Abilities

    Strong understanding of federal acquisition requirements with the ability to create competitive pricing strategies as well as develop contract/pricing proposal volumes in response to government instructions.

    Other Characteristics (e.g., Personal or Language)

    Excellent oral and written communication in English. Must be able to work in a team environment with members including personnel from other companies, Government program management and administrative personnel, and technical staff members.

    Working conditions, including location

    Ability to work a hybrid schedule Tuesday-Thursday at the Headquarters site in Beavercreek, OH with Monday and Friday remote.

    Office hours are Monday through Friday during traditional business hours.
