Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
A leading international manufacturer of steel-reinforced springs. As a customer-focused, world-class supplier of choice, we provide the brands, product breadth, distribution network, and technical support for an array of metal forming needs. Industries served include railroad, aerospace, food and beverage, and auto. We produce over 3,000 different types of steel springs with orders ranging from 100 units to tens of thousands. The machine operator will set up machines, complete the coiling of springs according to work orders, inspect springs for proper dimensions and desired length, clean machines, perform minor maintenance, and assist less experienced operators in the selection of tooling and operation of equipment. The operator may also operate a forklift truck, hand truck, or crane to move, convey, or hoist spring wire from the storage area to the work area.
