Electrician & Electrician Helper Positions Available

We are actively seeking Electricians & Electrician Helper's to join our dynamic, growing company.  Qualified, experienced applicants should be able to work well both independently and as part of a team, show respect to company management, co-workers, clients, and other job site personnel.

Overview: The positions of Electrician & Electrician helper are full-time positions that are considered to be non-exempt level for the purposes of the federal wage-hour law, meaning that you will be eligible for overtime for hours actually worked in excess of forty-hours in a given workweek. The positions have scheduled work hours on the job site Monday -- Friday 7:00 AM-- 3:00 PM, some overtime may be required based upon schedule demands and company needs.

Job Description: Working as a Full-time Electrician or Electrician's Helper, you will work in the field at the client's job site, completing the rough wiring phase of new homes, in accordance with the client's specifications and NEC codes; complete final phase installation as well as conduct troubleshooting if necessary; and perform warranty repair work as assigned based upon our client's needs. 

Responsibilities:  Electrician's and Electrician Helpers are responsible for reading technical diagrams and blueprints to install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems;  run conduit, wire and terminate devices; perform general electrical maintenance; inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components; perform quality testing and troubleshooting of electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices;  repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures; follow the National Electrical Code, state and local building regulations, while performing electrical wiring in accordance with the client's specifications; and perform other duties and tasks as directed by management.  

Required Position Qualifications: Proven work experience with at least 2-years' experience as an Electrician or Electrician's Helper, experience in new residential home construction is preferred. Must be knowledgeable of the National Electrical Code; possess ability to read blueprints; lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, stretch, work overhead, pull, push; must be able to work from ladders, extension ladders, scaffolds, and crawl spaces as needed. Analytical skills required, solid judgement, and decision making skills. Must possess strong attention to detail; be highly motivated, self-directed.  Must have a valid driver's license, transportation to and from work, basic electrical tools required. Must be authorized to work in the United States, pass pre-employment drug test, random drug screens and follow all company policies and procedures.
