Air Combat Command Supervisory Recreation Specialist in Beale AFB, California

Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Community Activity Center, Beale AFB, CA. This position is Regular Full-time, guaranteed 35 hours per week and receives benefits. Must be able to lift 40lbs, bending, stooping, walking, standing, climbing ladders, lifting above shoulders, inside and outside, must be able to work in excessive heat environment and cold weather. Responsibilities In charge of effectively running community center and theater facilities and activities, ensuring economic efficiency. Coordinates diverse programs and events, adhering to higher-level directives, recreational, and promotional programs. Manages budget, analyzes financial results, and maintains financial stability. Handles workforce management, recruitment, and staff training. Manages real property resources, provides advice on renovations and improvements, and conducts needs assessments for programming. Recruits, organizes, and mentors volunteers, arranges for quality instructors, and plans activities for the military community. Assigns tasks, evaluates performance, and ensures a safe working environment. Qualifying Experience: Experience in progressively responsible administrative, professional, technical, or related work that imparts a general understanding of management principles. Alternatively, candidates should have advancing experience in functions managed at the Community Center or in related recreational programs, particularly in the operation or management of programs involving social, recreational, and leisure activities. Successful candidates must undergo and maintain a favorable background check and hold a valid driver's license. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
