Air Combat Command Arts & Crafts / Auto Skills Assistant Manager in Beale AFB, California
Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Arts and Crafts / Auto Hobby Shop, Beale AFB, CA. Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds. Responsibilities Oversees work involved in the day to day operations of the Arts & Crafts / Auto Skills Center and performs routine assistant manager functions. Assists with preparing annual budgets, financial statements, reports, and other documents reflecting the status of the Arts & Crafts / Auto Skills Center operations and ensures adequate resources are available to support the program. Ensures the compliance of management resources, equipment, property control, and inventory. Responsible for all equipment, supplies, merchandise, and funds for both programs. Receives and resolves customer complaints, obtains assistance from Arts and Crafts Operations Manager when necessary. Processes work orders and maintains order within the facility, enforcing applicable rules and regulations. Assists with many aspects of personnel management to include interviewing prospective staff, recommending promotions, awards, performance ratings, and other related personnel actions. Maintains safe work environment by ensuring all tools and equipment are kept in good condition with preventative maintenance. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
