Our client is seeking a Janitorial in Battle Ground WA to join.

Job Title: Janitorial Role

Location: Battle Ground, WA

Duration will be until the end of the year, possibility of extension

Pay rate is $17.85/hour on W2

JOB SUMMARY:

In the Facilities cleaning position, you will perform a wide variety of tasks to prepare our site for employees and visitors. You will clean, sanitize, and vacuum, each office space and bathroom. You’ll also be responsible for emptying all trash bins and sweeping/mopping production areas. You will perform checks and inspections to ensure good quality work on each cleaning project you are tasked with. The position requires the use and operation of various cleaning tools and equipment to ensure that each area you are assigned to clean is properly sanitized for our employees’ health. You’ll work in a repetitive environment as the sole representative of the building's cleanliness. This job requires you to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, reach overhead, perform strong pinch and grip, push pull up to 100 lbs, and stand/walk up to 5 hours per shift.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities for both the office staff, warehouse, and production areas.

  • Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs.

  • Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships production employees and supervisors.

  • Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company.

  • Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

  • Must be willing and available to clean the building every Tuesday and Thursday evening between 5 pm – 10 pm (Willing to be flexible with schedule as needed).

  • Will be the only person assigned to cleaning our small office space.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.

  • Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including the application of spot cleaning treatment.

  • Gathers and empties trash from both the office staff and production employees.

  • Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas and office spaces.

  • Services clean and supplies restrooms.

  • Willing to deep clean carpets and handrails in office building as needed.

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High school Diploma or GED required

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

  • Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screens

  • Proficient in English
