WK Kellogg Co Senior Analyst, Category Inventory Control in Battle Creek, Michigan

As the Senior Analyst, Category Inventory Control you will m anage and audit inventory control policies and procedures that contribute to the fiscally responsible use of WK Kellogg owned inventory. Provides end-to-end accountability for inventory control processes and operational efficiencies with our External Manufacturers.

The role is part of a hybrid work environment – proximity to Battle Creek, MI is desired.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Focus on Process Improvement : Apply operational expertise and root cause analysis ensuring streamlined External Manufacturing Operations.

  • Develop Strong Relationships with Stakeholders : Partner with Project Managers to develop customized programs supporting new item and/or new pkg innovation. Provides direction and oversight to 3rd party service providers; Liaison between Remarketing, Supply Planning, and External locations.

  • Demonstrate Keen Attention to Detail: Ensures accurate process adherence (ZIWO/RMKT/ToolBox); Facilitate progress on rejected loads and other stranded inventory to minimize inventory write-offs; Ensure stated inventory accuracy and 3rd party compliance with SOX 404 Controls; Provides ‘end of the line’ support for Packaging Work Requests (PWR’s) to facilitate timely material set-up and on-time shipments.

  • Be a Solutionist: Research and resolves operational issues such as SKU set-up and errors, Transplace data flow, and EDI failures. Resolves outstanding invoice variances for both External Manufacturers and vendors through research and follow up.

  • Lead and Support : Provide training and on-going support for new locations on External Manufacturing Inventory Control processes. Provide support across the organization to trouble-shoot, train, and assist in various areas. (Finance Variance Report errors/GBS contract errors/PPV issues)

  • SAP and Excel expertise; Basic understanding of SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.

  • Investigative Mindset – Ability to work with complicated data and a desire to research and develop solutions.

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize work and perform analytical functions to resolve issues.

  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience a PLUS
