Sodexo General Manager 4 - Food in BATTLE CREEK, Michigan
Unit Description
Sodexo has an excellent opportunity for a polished and professional General Manager with a Corporate Services account located in Battle Creek, MI .
This individual would oversee a multi-concept retail cafe and catering for our client's corporate office. This manager will have total unit operating responsibilities including the supervision of hourly staff which include around 20 Sodexo frontline employees.
This individual will plan and supervise special functions, maintain cash control and payroll records, hire and train unit personnel, and maintain customer satisfaction. We are looking for candidates with a culinary background, strong leadership skills, and catering experience.
This position offers a predominately Monday-Friday schedule!
Key duties will include the following:
Monitor and manage operations by upholding contract guarantees
Manage the budget by increasing revenue and controlling costs, reviewing financial statements and tracking operating expenses
Build and lead a great team
Constantly improve food service operations in order to drive client and customer satisfaction
Manage through mangers to achieve Sodexo objectives
Ensure the execution of product and service quality by maintaining highest level of delivery
Promote and support workplace diversity initiatives as well as create a positive work environment
Develop strategic plans for account retention and growth
The ideal candidate for this position will:
Provide stellar customer service (and this manager will have daily contact with multiple clients including corporate executives)
