The Senior Strategy Advancement Professional provides data-based strategic direction to improve the quality of care and health outcomes for Medicare Advantage and Dual-eligible members, with a particular focus on members with social risk factors and members experiencing non-clinical barriers to care. Provides business intelligence and strategic implementation for Health Equity and Social Impact (HESI) and key business partners such as Stars Improvement. The Senior Strategy Advancement Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, including Star measure and population health data.
The Senior Strategy Advancement Professional leads initiatives to improve the quality of care and health outcomes for Medicare Advantage and Dual-eligible members, with a particular focus on members with social risk factors and members experiencing non-clinical barriers to care, using data from internal and external sources. Brings healthcare quality improvement, Stars Program, and other relevant expertise or identifies subject matter experts to design and implement multi-functional initiatives based on company and external data analysis. Builds project teams to ensure successful and efficient execution of priority initiatives. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Additional responsibilities include:
Defines initiative goals and key performance indicators.
Monitors progress and performance of initiatives; takes action and/or escalates risks and issues to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
Communicates within HESI and with business partners, including leaders, about initiative design, goals, and status.
Maintains initiative and portfolio documentation.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5 or more years of relevant experience
Demonstrated success working in a matrixed environment
Familiarity with clinical quality measures and the Stars Program
Written communication and presentation skills
Familiarity with using data visualization tools (PowerBI) and reporting to make decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Project or Portfolio Management
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$86,300 - $118,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
