Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital Registered Nurse (RN) $4000 Bonus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital, newly constructed in 2018 - state of the art facility conveniently located at 9938 airline highway in the heart of the city at the intersection of I-12 and Airline Hwy.
Psych RN's are needed to work in an Inpatient Behavioral Health Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. All RN's welcomed to interview. Psych. experience preferred.
Psychiatric RN - Shift Available, to be working with another RN in a 24 beds Adult Acute Unit. TWO RNs per shift.
Shifts Available:
Full Time - Day Shift 7am-7pm (3 shifts per week)
Full Time - Night Shift 7pm - 7am (3 shifts per week)
PRN day and night shifts (no bonus)
Some of the ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSincluding but are not limited to:
- Assesses new patients within 8 hours of admission
- Provides individual nursing care to patients as ordered by the physician
- Manages medication administration including monitoring and storage on a daily basis
- Management of therapeutic milieu
- Participates in interdisciplinary formulation of individual treatment plans
- Dictates and writes progress notes for one to one and group sessions in accordance with APOLLO BEHAVIORAL HEALTH HOSPITAL policies and procedures
- Collaborates with other disciplines and Medical Director providing information and assistance in the revision of treatment plans

``` 1. Participates as an active member of multidisciplinary team with input into patient treatment planning and the development of nursing portion 2. Assists in coordinating risk management activities to reduce or eliminate patient/staff/visitor injuries, illnesses, death, and/or financial loss. 3. Screens patients for appropriateness and obtains admission orders from attending physician 4. Completes and signs necessary admission, treatment and discharge paperwork and other required documentation within guidelines mandated by law and applicable hospital policies and procedures.
