Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Analyst to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In this role, you will handle various billing functions, including processing sales transactions, managing invoicing, and ensuring accurate customer billing. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organization and contribute to its operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Process all sales transactions, including settlements, invoicing, and delivery receipts, accurately and promptly.
• Ensure customers are invoiced correctly and in accordance with company policies.
• Assist in identifying and utilizing available programs and discounts to optimize billing processes.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to support accruals and month-end close activities.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all billing operations.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and adjusting to shifting priorities.
• Leverage advanced Excel skills and accounting systems to streamline billing procedures.
• Provide support for any additional billing-related tasks as needed.
Requirements
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, including invoicing, accruals, and month-end close processes.
• Experience in the construction or industrial sectors; medical or retail billing experience is not applicable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and accommodate overtime when required.
• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple priorities effectively.
