What You Will Be Doing:
Quality Control Manager will oversee, facilitate and implement Quality Management System (QMS) for Yancey Engineered Solutions (YES), a division of Yancey Bros. Co.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee Quality Management System
Maintain ISO 9001-2015 accreditation
Process and file phase inspection procedures on custom fabricated fuel tanks and generator enclosures
Track and record Quality Management metrics - Customer satisfaction surveys, Non-Conformance, Corrective Actions, Safety
Track and record continuous improvement cards
Set budgets and manage any warranty calls
Travel to meetings, customer sites and vendors
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner
Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you will have prior experience with quality control management, ISO 9001 and strong accountability and initiative. This position also requires someone who has advanced problem solving skills, drive and attention to detail.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree and/or 5 years of experience in a Quality Role within Manufacturing or related experience within the industry.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015
Basic Computer skills to include Internet Explorer, Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the telephone
Ability to read, analyzes, and communicate information - effectively ask and answer questions from customers, employees and upper management.
Communicate to customers, employees and management in a professional and comfortable manner.
Skilled in basic computer applications with required operating programs.
Valid Class C Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to company standards are required
Exhibit superior customer service skills, pride and ownership
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Quality control management
ISO 9001-2015
Knowledge of Excel is preferred
Previous supervisory experience preferred
