Verizon seeks a Principal Engineer-Software Development in Basking Ridge, NJ. DUTIES: Design, build and operationalize architectural solutions and applications. Develop HLA (High Level Architecture) designs and technical documents. Define technical direction and roadmap for application development utilizing Java, J2EE (Java Enterprise Edison), Java Script, Angular Java Script, React, React Natives, CSS (Cascade Style Sheet), Web Services and Unix Shell Scripting. Manage the implementation and technical solutions. Work on infrastructure setup like Firewall, load balancers and storage. Provide mentorship and coaching to technical team members. Conduct NLP (Natural language processing) using customized dialog flows intents, AI (Artificial Intelligent), machine learning, algorithms, trained predictive Modeling, and Deep Personalization on the UI (User Interface) using AEM (Abode Experience Manager). Design architectures and conduct deployments with CI/CD (Continues Integration /Continues Delivery). Strategize function architecture for applications development by incorporating security. Design front end applications with responsive screens utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies, tools, standards and procedures. Work on ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) stack and performance tuning using Elastic framework.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or a related field, and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or as a Senior Engineer, Software Developer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 6 years tuning Java and J2EE (Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition) applications. 6 years of experience working on infrastructure setup like Firewall, load balancers and storage. 6 years of experience utilizing Java, J2EE (Java Enterprise Edison), Java Script, Angular Java Script, React, React Natives, CSS (Cascade Style Sheet), Web Services and Unix Shell Scripting. 6 years of experience implementing micro services and scaling. 6 years of experience designing front end applications with responsive screens. 6 years of experience working on ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) stack and performance tuning using Elastic framework. 6 years of experience utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies, tools, standards and procedures. 6 years of experience conducting NLP (Natural language processing) using customized dialog flows intents, AI (Artificial Intelligent), machine learning, algorithms, trained predictive Modeling, and Deep Personalization on the UI (User Interface) using AEM (Abode Experience Manager).
