Teradyne IT Infrastructure Support Engineer - Mechanical Tools ( IT, Philippines :Cebu) in Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines

This full-time role involves working closely with mechanical engineers and managers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate in this role will be a critical technical support resource responsible for:

  • Assisting internal customers with development tools used in both Mechanical and Thermal engineering groups

  • Triaging and troubleshooting IT incidents affecting engineering development

  • Collaborating with various core IT teams on infrastructure improvement projects

  • Performance benchmarking, monitoring key systems and services

  • Creating and maintaining technical support documentation

  • Highly organized and skilled in effective task prioritization and always ahead of others

    Basic Qualifications, Education and Skills Required :

  • Must be able to work during weekends on rotations and flexible hours

  • 3+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree related to Mechanical Design with SOLIDWORKS or like.

  • Working knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) (SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional preferred)

  • Working knowledge of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) (SOLIDWORKS Simulation / Flow Simulation preferred)

  • Working knowledge of Windows administration.

  • Strong customer service skills with previous Help Desk experience

    Nice to have:

  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault

  • Experience with CREO and Pro/INTRALINK

  • Experience with ANSYS Mechanical

  • Proficiency in Product Life Management (PLM) system (e.g. Teamcenter)

  • Familiarity with programming (e.g. Visual Basic)
