Antech Diagnostics Customer Service Representative in Barrie, Ontario

Job Purpose/Overview

This job is critical to supporting the day to day order processing of our customers that supports signed customer agreements and SLA’s. This role is critical to the seamless operation of our front end office to service our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Order Processing :

  • Assist with processing consumable/equipment orders daily.

  • Take and process phone orders – Back up.

  • Help fulfill orders in Shopify webstore.

  • Assist with maintaining customer programs.

  • Help manage appropriate inventory levels within the ERP system.

  • Manage standing orders for Customer Programs – back up for invoicing.

  • Adding new customers to the webstore

  • Send invoices to customers for specialty billing.

  • Enter new item codes into ERP.

  • Opportunity management within Salesforce.com

Customer Service:

  • Price list management in ERP and web store as required.

  • Enter all customers and agreements into the ERP system

  • General customer service

  • Backup for main reception phone

  • Facilitate credits within the ERP as required

  • Live Web Chat – Secondary user

  • Run ad/hoc reports within ERP

General Administrative:

  • General office admin as required.

  • Participate in inventory counts.

Education and Experience

  • Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.

  • 1-2 years in an office environment and/or customer service role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Documentation skills

  • Problem solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively independently.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • General computer knowledge

  • General diploma or equivalent

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Intermediate Excel knowledge

  • Previous E-Commerce experience an asset.

Working Conditions

The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment including the use of cubicles, computers and overhead lighting. Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, and the Internet. The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; copy machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
