Aerotek Inventory Coordinator in Barnesville, Ohio

Shipping/Inventory Coordinator

$19/Hour!

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Shipping/Inventory Clerk to join our team at our Barnesville, Ohio plant. The ideal candidate will perform essential functions such as picking, pulling orders, shipping, and replying to vendors via e-mail. Additionally, they will follow up with rig managers and assist with inventory management. This role also involves helping the production team ensure products are sent to the correct locations.

Responsibilities

  • Reply to vendor inquiries via e-mail and follow up with rig managers.

  • Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.

  • Ensure products are sent to the correct locations.

  • Work proficiently within WMS.

  • Enter data within companies computer systems.

  • Use RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.

  • Perform data entry and maintain SAP records.

  • Help the production team as required.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to navigate a computer effectively.

  • Comfortable operating a forklift.

  • Experience in inventory management and warehouse operations.

  • Proficient in shipping and receiving tasks.

  • Skilled in packaging, picking, and material handling.

  • Familiarity with RF scanners and FedEx processes.

  • Experience with pallet jacks and inventory control.

  • Strong data entry skills and knowledge of SAP.

  • Ability to perform cycle counts and order picking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with stand-up forklifts is a plus.

Work Environment

You will work in a small team of 4-5 employees. The role requires being 'on call' to speak with customers in the evening every other week. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, ensuring a balance between professional growth and personal well-being.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Barnesville, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
