Responsibilities:

Perform Simcenter STAR-CCM+ Release Candidate Testing.

Develop test plans and perform manual testing.

Review results of automated tests and provide test support.

Evaluate software and associated documentation throughout the development lifecycle. Identify and report software defects.

Collaborate with software developers for high-quality output.

Overview:

Perform Simcenter STAR-CCM+ Release Candidate Testing

  • 3 release cycles per year;

  • 7-10 Release Candidates per cycle;

  • Manual testing:

■ update test plans according to new requirements;

■ create new test plans;

■ perform testing;

  • Automated regression testing (results review, maintenance, developing)

■ squishtest (javascript, UI)

■ startest (java, regression)

■ alicetest (python, license)

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in quality control or assurance in software development.

Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Proficiency in different testing techniques like UI Testing and Automated Testing.

Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues with minimal supervision.

Understanding of Linux environments and Windows operating systems.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.

Experience with Squish or Eggplant for automated GUI testing.

Proficient in scripting/programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Shell, Java).

Experience with Jenkins or other CI tools.
