Responsibilities You will supervise development and implementation of security policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for identifying security issues and protecting security information, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material . You will develop, evaluate, and maintain operating systems, policies, devices, procedures, and methods used for safeguarding information, property, personnel, operations, and materials. You will develop and implement policies and procedures for analyzing and evaluating the character, background, and history of persons requiring access to classified or other sensitive information, materials, or work sites. You will identify and implement recommendations/solutions to complex or unyielding problems, risks, and potential outcomes in the assigned program area(s). You will maintain administrative expertise for cutting-edge technology, equipment, and tools. You will plan for all aspects of new designs, research and development, or re-evaluation of new/changing elements in assigned program areas. You will coordinate with internal and external customers across a broad spectrum of government employees, military members, consultants, contractors, other government organizations, or private industry. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level (GS-11) or NH-02 pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the protection of information, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
