How will you make an impact in this role:

  • Prepare and review tax documents, tax reconciliations, tax return filing including but not limited to VAT, Withholding tax, other taxes in accordance with laws and regulations

  • Provide tax advice relevant to VAT, Withholding tax and other taxes to business users

  • Ensure the correctness and completeness of tax and submission in timely manner

  • Support ad hoc tax projects e.g., tax audits

  • Coordinate with the shared service center and respond to and resolve accounting related queries raised by business users

  • Perform miscellaneous manual journal entries

  • Support account reconciliation of tax-related accounts

  • Perform manual check issuance ( <10 items/month)

  • Assist in month-end close review to ensure compliance to relevant internal policies, US GAAP and local GAAP

  • Support supervisor to liaison with external business partners, auditors and regulators as directed by supervisor during daily operations, external audits and regulatory reviews

  • Contribute toward process improvements to create efficiencies and eliminate non-value-added work.

  • Work with Regional team and local team on projects and activities

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years relevant experience in accounting and/or taxation functions

  • In-depth knowledge of local GAAP, US GAAP, and Thai taxation

  • Strong command of English (verbal and written)

  • Experience in E-filing and E-WHT is a plus

  • High proficiency in MS-Office applications

  • A fast/keen learner with the ability to learn a detailed process quickly

  • Ability to share technical knowledge and proactively encourage others to do the same
