As a Software Engineer in the Edge Platform team, you will lead development for a variety of Edge Computing products and platforms. You will be responsible for bringing in the latest Azure offering in Customer's Edge locations. You will get the opportunity to define the limits of Cloud Computing and work with customers to solve real-world problems. This will be a place where you will innovate to overcome current technology, bring in solutions that solve resiliency, scale, security at a completely different level. Responsibilities
Developing Customer experiences for Cloud Services or Restful services, or Distributed systems
Able to analyze and clearly articulate complex issues and technologies.
Collaborate across Azure to develop platforms that help simplify the management and monitoring of Edge devices at scale
Write exemplary code working with large scale distributed systems with quality, simplicity, and maintainability as core tenets
Drive for quality across the team, mentor and guide others for keeping the bar high.
Qualifications
Required qualifications :
5+ years of experience in Software Development.
3+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring front-end applications.
A strong Computer Science background with solid TypeScript/JavaScript programming, debugging skills is highly desired.
Deep understanding of frontend concepts - accessibility, performance, micro frontend architecture along with experience in React/Angular or similar framework.
Great design and problem-solving skills, with a strong bias for architecting for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
Deep understanding of efficient data structures and algorithms.
Bachelor’s/master's degree or equivalent in Computer science or related field required.
An entrepreneurial spirit with a can-do attitude – a self-starter, project finisher and adaptive, collaborative.
Able to analyze and clearly articulate complex issues and technologies.
Preferred qualifications :
Experience with LLMs are preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS or similar cloud computing platforms is preferred
