Qualcomm Engineer Senior - Computer Architecture Team in Bangalore, India

General Summary:

Job function:

  • Qualcomm’s QCT Software Architecture team is helping build power efficient, embedded, next-generation system-on-chip solutions to enable advanced features in wireless devices. We are looking for system infrastructure software architects to work with cross functional teams to architect solutions that optimizes hardware and software for future products.

Skills/experience:

  • Strong understanding of basic computer architecture and operating system

  • Excellent in logical programming using C/C++/Assembly/Scripting

  • Indepth Understanding of software stack - Linux Internals/device drivers

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing new System SW for Neural/ML processor, which is used in Mobile/Auto/Cloud chips

  • Implementing new system infra prototypes in CPU/NSP for performance power optimizations

  • Analyzing new architecture feature on system infra area and help in improving the performance and power

  • Develop new tools for architecture analysis and enable other teams to analyze deep in system infra area

  • Work closely with CPU and DSP team and deploy the new prototypes

  • Education requirements: BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science
