UL, LLC Billing Supervisor - Oracle EBS R12, Invoicing, AR in Bangalore, India

Supervises staff and daily operations of the Billing department. Oversees operations of Regional Billing Operations applications, including such activities as running reports, correcting deposits, deleting deposits, opening invoices paid in error, verifying payments received, adjusting customers’ accounts and addressing any issues arising related to Billing.

  • Develops, recommends and implements work methods and procedures in Billing Operations including updating policies and procedures.

  • Ensures all invoicing is run efficiently daily and responsible for distribution.

  • Monitors billing exceptions to ensure they are thoroughly investigated and resolved

  • Acts as liaison with other departments and organizations

  • Periodically reviews and updates existing goals for the group and provides recommendations for process improvement.

  • Manages the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance, and ensures that all policies are understood and adhered to.

  • Responsible for month end AR Closing within stated goals and escalate issues as needed to Sub-GPO Billing and GPO O2C

  • Reads and follows the UL Solutions Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices

  • Performs other duties as directed.

  • Some University (equivalent to a US Associates’ degree) in Accounting or related field and generally 5 years of directly related experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain records in Billing Operations and compute amounts where needed.

  • Detailed knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.

  • Detailed knowledge of Billing software systems preferably Oracle EBS R12

  • Cross-functional understanding of other accounting groups, particularly treasury (bank account reconciliation) and the general ledger group.

  • Able to work on European Shift (2pm to 11pm IST)
