Johns Hopkins University Research Program Assistant in Baltimore, Maryland

Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is seeking a Research Program Assistant to be responsible for data cleaning, organization and analysis, for a publicly funded research study investigating the biological and psychological determinants of eating.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • After data is obtained, review all forms for completeness and accuracy and obtain clarification or corrections if necessary.

  • Complete data entry, cleaning, and organization, including data reduction.

  • Analyze results and compile findings.

  • Meet regularly with Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator(s) to review data accuracy

  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and generate graphs, tables and progress reports.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with database maintenance and statistical programs.

  • Experience with other data analysis programs and software such as Excel, R, SPSS, SAS, MATLAB, PPT, GraphPad.

  • Some related experience with eating disorders.

  • Some college courses preferred.

Starting Salary Range: $15.40 - $23.25 HRLY ($20.00 HRLY targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)

Employee group: Casual / On Call

Schedule: Up to 19 hours a week Monday - Friday

Exempt Status: Non-Exempt
