Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate must have an EIT certificate or be eligible to obtain one. The role requires knowledge of building systems and building codes. The ability to work independently and as a member of a project team is essential. Responsibilities include performing various aspects of mechanical engineering services on multi-discipline building design projects, as well as single discipline mechanical engineering projects. The candidate will handle all aspects of mechanical design services, including conceptual studies, programming, schematic documents, design development documents, and construction documents under the direct supervision of a Senior Mechanical Engineer or Principal. Additionally, the role involves services associated with the bidding process, construction phase, field visits, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, preparing record drawings, and laying out mechanical systems. The candidate will prepare accurate, complete, and code-compliant drawings and specifications, review drawings produced by CADD technicians, coordinate with other disciplines, and perform QA/QC reviews on assigned projects.

Hard Skills

  • AutoCAD

  • Knowledge of building systems and building codes

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
