Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Aerotek is currently hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic that has experience working in a manufacturing/production environment!

Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in repairing and troubleshooting high-speed production equipment.

  • This role involves making welding repairs, performing basic electrical repairs, and utilizing both hand tools and power tools effectively.

  • The ideal candidate will also be proficient in reading blueprints to ensure accurate maintenance and repair processes.

  • Repair and troubleshoot high-speed production equipment.

  • Perform welding repairs on machinery as needed.

  • Conduct basic electrical repairs to ensure equipment functionality.

  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks.

  • Read and interpret blueprints to guide repair and maintenance activities.

Preferred Experience:

  • Maintenance Mechanics/Technicians that come from a manufacturing/production setting.

  • Industrial mechanics that have experience working on pumps and motors.

  • Hydraulic & Pneumatic troubleshooting experience.

  • Experience with three-phase motors and PLC troubleshooting is not required, but preferred.

Work Environment

  • Work in a large manufacturing facility which specializes in the production of metal products and cans.

  • The company employs approximately 150 staff members and operates from Monday through Thursday, 5am to 3pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
