Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for Medstar Union Memorial Hospital located in Baltimore, MD. Medstar Union Memorial is a 225-bed hospital that specializes in cardiovascular and orthopedic care. The successful candidate strives for excellence in patient care and possess strong teamwork. This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced dietitian to join our team.

$2,000 Sign on Bonus

Benefits:

• reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal

• three weeks of vacation, eight holidays and three personal days paid each year

• reimbursement for continuing education events

• up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually

The successful candidate will:

• provide nutritional care a variety of inpatient units;

• perform quality improvement initiatives;

• educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses; and/or

• work every 7th weekend providing hospital wide coverage

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
