Camp Program Manager
Position Overview
· Department: Camping & TherapeuticRecreation
· Reports to: Director, Camping &Therapeutic Recreation
· Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt
· Salary: $60-65K
Summary
The Camp Program Manager is responsible for organizing and facilitatingactivities for various Camping & Therapeutic Recreation programs, includingWeekend Respite, Assisted Travel, Summer Camp, League Pioneers, and WinterCamp.

2) June 24-29

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Program Development: Plan andfacilitate Weekend Respite, Winter Camp, and Travel Camp programs, includinglesson plans, itineraries, and supplies.
· Year-Round Activities: Leadtherapeutic recreation programs such as assisted travel and sailing.
· Supervision: Supervise year-round andseasonal camp staff.
· Onsite Presence: Live onsite during summer andwinter camping programs.
· Compliance: Ensure all programs follow stateand ACA guidelines.
· Leadership: May assume the role of CampDirector in the summer.
· Team Participation: Fully participatein the Camping & Therapeutic Recreation management team.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities
· Recruitment: Assist with participant andstaff recruitment.
· Budget Management: Work with theDirector to meet budget projections and get administrative approval forexpenses.
· Supportive Environment: Create asupportive environment for participants and staff.
· Evaluations: Complete timely evaluations ofsupervised staff.
Qualification Requirements
· Diverse Populations: Ability to workwith diverse populations.
· Enthusiasm: Inject enthusiasm into all skitsand programs.
· Driver’s License: Valid statedriver’s license with a clean driving record.
· Physical Ability: Ability to lift upto 75 lbs and work long hours.
· Certifications: Preferred certifications includeMedication Administration, Behavioral Principles and Strategies, AED, FirstAid, and CPR.
Education and Experience
· Experience: Experience working with peoplewith disabilities and supervising staff.
· Education: BA/BS in Therapeutic Recreation,Recreation Management, or related fields; CTRS or CPRP preferred.
