Job Summary

The Service Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing operational support and customer follow-up on the delivery of Services within their scope. Duties include, but are not limited to, commissioning, installation, on-site support, enforcement of the preventive maintenance contract, and calibration according to the terms of the signed contract.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date Service schedules (Maintenance, On-Site Support, Calibration, Installation and any Services offering from the EMEA portfolio)

  • Plan and communicate with the customer for the successful completion of maintenance, on-site support, calibration, installation and any service offering in the EMEA portfolio on the set dates

  • Perform warranty service and repairs on tool products in accordance with the signed extended warranty contract,

  • Administratively manage the activity on its scope (invoice, quotes, etc.) and provide documents

  • Manage and optimize the stock of spare parts, carry out the stock inventory annually

  • Reporting customer information to the relevant departments

  • Maintain tools and the working environment (service vehicle, tools, PC, spare parts stock)

  • Ensure that shop calibration equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition.

Basic Qualifications

  • BTS / DUT or equivalent

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position in an industrial environment

  • Ability to understand technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and part schematics.

  • Driving licence B required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • English fluent (oral/written)

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

50% travel across in France, Spain and Italy
