Job Summary
The Service Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing operational support and customer follow-up on the delivery of Services within their scope. Duties include, but are not limited to, commissioning, installation, on-site support, enforcement of the preventive maintenance contract, and calibration according to the terms of the signed contract.
Responsibilities
Maintain up-to-date Service schedules (Maintenance, On-Site Support, Calibration, Installation and any Services offering from the EMEA portfolio)
Plan and communicate with the customer for the successful completion of maintenance, on-site support, calibration, installation and any service offering in the EMEA portfolio on the set dates
Perform warranty service and repairs on tool products in accordance with the signed extended warranty contract,
Administratively manage the activity on its scope (invoice, quotes, etc.) and provide documents
Manage and optimize the stock of spare parts, carry out the stock inventory annually
Reporting customer information to the relevant departments
Maintain tools and the working environment (service vehicle, tools, PC, spare parts stock)
Ensure that shop calibration equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition.
Basic Qualifications
BTS / DUT or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position in an industrial environment
Ability to understand technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and part schematics.
Driving licence B required
Proficient in Microsoft Office
English fluent (oral/written)
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
50% travel across in France, Spain and Italy
