Workers will pick, sort, and field pack blackberries. Harvest will require workers to gently pull berries from the vines and place in flats as instructed. Only sound, acceptable quality berries are packed. Train blackberries plants. General farm maintenance such as weeding and clean up.

Only sound, acceptable quality berries are packed. Train blackberry plants. Field care - clean drip emitters and microjets, remove plastic drip lines, cleaning alleys, pruning dead wood from skirts and sucker/waterspout removal, remove dead plants, and weed removal. Workers must follow GAP standards/rules and supervisors' instructions on safety, food safety, hand washing, use of restrooms, and handling of fruit. Tools provided by employer will be properly cared for.
Prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Job is outdoors and continues in all types of weather. Must be able to work long hours in direct sunlight, where weather conditions may be hot and humid, rain is possible and worker will be exposed to pollen the entire day while performing he job duties. The majority of the workday is spent on ones feet and outdoors. Hours and days of work may vary due to weather conditions. Must be able to lift 20lbs. to shoulder height repetitively throughout the workday and able to lift and carry 20lbs. in field. Workers may be required to submit to random drug tests at the discretion of the employer.
Drug testing and background checks may be performed during the interview process. Use of personal cell phone or other personal electronic device during working hours strictly prohibited except for work-related calls or emergencies and violation may result in immediate termination. All physical requirements will take place in an outdoor environment exposed to the elements for extended periods of time.
