Oracle Systems Engineer I or II in Austin, Texas

Job Description

Oracle's Millennium Release Update Team, part of Oracle Health and AI, is looking to hire a System Engineer. In this role you will need a good understanding of Linux and Windows system administration and use that knowledge to implement and support the Millennium EMR (Electronic Medical Record) product. This team is responsible for deploying and maintaining Millennium code across our Global user base. You will work with a team of engineers to deploy Millennium updates and develop automation for deployment and validation.

Responsibilities

Perform daily system operations tasks to verify system integrity and availability.

Perform Technology Upgrades related Oracle Health EMR, Millennium, Software

Respond to requests for support by users.

Test and coordinate testing of new releases of Oracle Health Applications.

Support Client\Customer Technologies related to Millennium Software

Log bugs against applications and follow up with IT and Development.

Collaborate with project managers and other technical teams

Seeking 1-4 years of experience in System Engineering/System Administration or similar roles.

Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems with 0 - 2 year experience.
