Centene Corporation Senior Content Designer in Austin, Texas

Position Purpose:

As a Senior Content Designer, you will lead the development and execution of content strategy, delivering high-impact content. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners like designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define technical and business requirements, design engaging experiences, and ensure quality control. By leveraging GenAI technology and innovative approaches, you'll create and enhance customer experiences across web, mobile, and chat platforms for high-visibility initiatives.

  • Partner with UX Researchers to perform user experience research, interviews, and usability tests to inform design decisions and define user pain points

  • Shape effective and efficient interaction designs for complex, data-intensive domains that reflect the key requirements of end users, while applying consistent content design principles to ensure a seamless user experience across applications

  • Contribute to wireframes and prototypes that provide visual representation of the product and direction on the user experience

  • Communicate conceptual ideas, prototypes, and the specifics of the user-centered design process to product, engineering, and key stakeholders

  • Collaborate with the broader UX team on the establishment of common content design standards for adoption across product lines

  • Work closely with stakeholder teams during design and development phases to ensure project goals and deadlines are met

  • Work cross-functionally with other designers to ensure quality and consistency of work and contribute to style guides to help establish language and tone standardization across all experiences

  • Demonstrate strong writing and editing skills

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Comply with all policies and standards

Education/Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).

Requires 4 – 6 years of related experience.

Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Technical Skills:

One or more of the following skills are desired.

  • Experience with user experience and design tools such as, but not limited to: Figma, Miro, Adobe (AEM), or Writer

Pay Range: $85,300.00 - $158,100.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
